‘Where are YOU going?

Women’s careers rarely follow an upward linear trajectory.  Sidesteps and timeouts are frequent features, and occasional knock downs and blows are inevitable.  Knowing where you are going – being strategic in your sidesteps and having clarity around your end goal – can give you courage to keep going despite challenges.

Courtney Cramey, a defender with the Adelaide Crows, is one of the pioneering AFLW players. Last year she was awarded the club’s prestigious Best Defensive Player medal, she was been selected as a 2017 ‘All Australian’ and has captained South Australia in State of Origin clashes. Don’t miss this opportunity to quiz Courtney about focusing on your end goal in a Q&A session, and rub shoulders in the informal networking session to follow.

Join NAWO for a special event to celebrate International Women’s Day and explore how we can #PressForProgress to reach our goals.

Key themes:

  • Resilience – and how do you get it
  • Keeping your eye on the end goal – and enjoying the sense of accomplishment when you get there
  • Sponsors and a personal board of management – what (and who) should be in your career tool kit
