Celebrating and empowering women

Image: CCA provided a fabulous venue and atmosphere for this event

With 75 people from NAWO’s NSW network gathering at CCA’s fabulous North Sydney venue on the 7th of December,  the scene was set for an afternoon of celebrating 2017, goal setting for 2018 and empowering women! Thanks to Jacqueline Diamond – Senior NPC Manager- Alcohol & Coffee, Coca-Cola Amatil, and NAWO NSW Committee Member for this overview…

Goal setting. We all know we should do it. But does it really make that much difference?

Joseph La Posta, General Manager of Talkforce, is well versed on goal setting theories and provided invaluable insights on how – and why – you should start setting clear individual and team goals for the new year. Joseph was joined by a panel of CCA’s senior leaders:  David Grant Supply Chain Director, Coca-Cola Amatil; Sally Byrne – Marketing Director – Alcohol & Coffee, Coca-Cola Amatil; Rachael Wakeling – Technical Manager – NSW, Coca-Cola Amatil; Nika Malek – National NPC Manager, Coca-Cola Amatil; who all shared how they use goals in their everyday work and the impact this has had on their career development.

It was powerful to hear from the different leaders and how they all manage differently. While they established that there is no one right way, they also demonstrated that is both important to set goals and to find what works for you. There were some very engaging and easy takeaways from this event.

Thanks to Joseph for sharing his presentation: NAWO Goal Setting – by Josesph La Posta
