CHEP Asia Pacific
Phillip was appointed President of CHEP Asia Pacific in September 2014, with responsibility for CHEPs’ operations across China, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. CHEP is a Brambles Company (ASX:BXB). CHEP is the leading global provider of pallet and container pooling services, supporting more than 500,000 customer touch-points across the Aerospace, Automotive, Chemical, Consumer Goods, Fresh Food and Manufacturing industries in more than 50 countries, owing approximately 300 million pallets and containers worldwide (www.chep.com).
Phillip joined Brambles in 1989, and worked across the group companies in a range of finance, operations, sales, asset, divisional and country leadership roles. In addition to his role with NAWO, Phillip is on the board of Enactus Australia, an international non-profit organisation that brings together student, academic and business leaders who are committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need.
Phillip holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters in Logistics Management, both from the University of Sydney. He is a CPA and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Having also married in 1989 he is a father of four, with a great passion for music but absolutely no musical ability.
