President FMCG, Linfox
With a life-long career in freight and logistics, and the last 20 years in key management roles, in 2011 Kylie became the CEO of BevChain, one of the leading and most successful beverage distributors in Australia. BevChain is a joint venture which is owned by transport giant Linfox and leading brewer Lion.
With hands on experience in almost everything logistics, Kylie is a quick and decisive thinker who knows how to find the win-win in all situations. She is prepared to have to have tough conversations and make the tough decisions, but also has the courage to standby them.
Kylie’s passion and drive as a leader has seen her able to transform the business - increasing bottom line by almost 40%, and growing BevChain to twice its size in just her first four years as the CEO.
Finding the right balance between people, customers, and operations has seen her able to achieve sustainable operational and commercial success for both BevChain and thepeople around her.
Building a successful and sustainable business is as much about making the right decisions at the top, as it is about growing and developing the people who work in it. Kylie takes great pride in finding new talent who she can grow and develop into future leaders in the industry.
At BevChain, Kylie believes the best customers aren’t just the ones that bring in the most money, but the ones that she can work with like a true partner. Ones that share the same values as Kylie and the broader organisation and ones that she can work and grow with, joining them on their journey to a successful future together.
With a personal mantra to work hard, play hard and work hard again, Kylie is building a strong culture of consistency, agility and passion in everything she does.
