Melissa brings over 20 years’ experience in a broad range of industries including professional and financial services, energy, government, logistics and facility management across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

She is recognised for her commitment to driving workplace diversity and inclusion. In 2017, she was named a Top 50 Global Diversity Practitioner and was a Winner of the Australian Human Resources Institute's Indigenous Engagement Award and Finalist Gender Equality Award.

Melissa is a currently a Director of Ideas with Impact, which delivers boutique management consulting services from governance and risk, business strategy, corporate social responsibility and people and culture. She was previously General Manager, Group Human Resources at Programmed, leading company-wide people and culture strategies including their award-winning diversity and inclusion programs.

She is a Fellow Certified Practitioner Human Resources, Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds Bachelors in Commerce and Arts, Masters in Human Resources and Business Administration. She is a former committee member of the Industrial Relations Society of Victoria, State Councillor of the Australian Human Resources Institute and serves as an Advisory Board Member of LaTrobe University Business School.
