Television News Reporter: Based in Washington D.C. for most of her career as a television news reporter, Andrea covered major news events for Al Jazeera English, the Pentagon Channel, the Seven Network and Reuters, including the US Presidential Election, the Virginia Tech campus shooting and Hurricane Katrina. Andrea has also filed reports for SBS World News and currently appears on Sky News Australia and Sky Business News as a guest commentator.

Andrea's reports assisted in the funding of aid programs for locals while also generating exposure to grassroots supporters, connecting those on the ground to those in high levels of office.

Communication Director: In 2009, Andrea was hired to serve as Senior Communication Director for the Save Darfur Coalition - the largest grassroots advocacy movement in the world where she lead efforts to co-ordinate media coverage, partnerships and organisational branding to support campaign objectives. Among other initiatives, Andrea was behind an unprecedented outreach event between the State Department and the Sudan advocacy movement. In a live, online broadcast from the White House, the U.S. Special Envoy to Sudan answered questions from activists about the administration’s strategy to bring peace to the region.
