HR Business Partner (Strategies & Projects) – Pernod Ricard Winemakers

Ashlee was born and raised in Adelaide.

Ashlee completed her university studies at the University of South Australia, where she studied a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resources and minor Psychology, graduating with a High Achievers certificate. Throughout University, Ashlee commenced work with the then Credit Union SA providing support across the organisations merger to become People’s Choice Credit Union.

Upon completion of University, Ashlee commenced employment with Hays Specialist Recruitment as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Where she had a successful 4.5-year employment overseeing Account Management with some of Australia’s largest employers and progressing to Section Management prior to joining Pernod Ricard Winemakers in 2015.

Pernod Ricard Winemakers had been a client with Hays and the culture of the organisation strongly appealed to Ashlee. An opening into the HR team in South Australia saw Ashlee transition into in-house HR.

Ashlee has held various position within the HR team, specialising in Compensation and Benefits, Generalist HR, Talent Management and most recently Diversity and Inclusion. Ashlee, now based in Melbourne, holds the position of HR Business Partner specialising in People & Culture Strategies and Projects.

Ashlee also held a unique opportunity of HR Representative on the Pernod Ricard global Youth Action Council reporting to the VP of People and Leadership in Paris, and a dotted line to group CEO Alex Ricard. This two-year tenure enabled Ashlee the opportunity to design and implement global initiatives for the Group and collaborate with senior leadership internationally.

This combined with her years as an Academic Tutor for Strategic Human Resources with the University of Adelaide contributed to her being named as a 2018 HRD Rising Star by HRD Magazine.
