There are many different pathways to career success, and it is difficult to know what qualifications or professional development will best prepare us for the next big promotion or career step; and do we even need formal qualifications to get ahead?

Join this panel discussion and Q&A presented in partnership with our Gold Member Orica APA, where three of Orica’s high performers will discuss their different career journeys, and the formal and informal educational experiences that have led them to where they are today.  We will explore how to overcome barriers and leverage both qualifications and transferable skills to build your career.

In the session we will cover questions such as
•    Do I need a formal qualification to progress my career?
•    How valuable is ‘on the job’ experiential learning?
•    How far will I get if I don’t have an undergraduate degree?
•    Is there a right time to do an MBA?

If you have ever wondered how to embrace the notion of continuous learning to achieve your career goals, while maintaining harmony between your work and home life, this event is for you!

Guest speakers:
Annie Lacombe, Senior Manager Product Line AN, Kooragang Island – Orica
Kylie Brough, Manager Business Development APAC – Orica
Laurence Goodacre, Territory Manager West Metals Australia – Orica
