As we strive for better gender balance at every level in our workplaces, we find ourselves addressing and changing behaviours, systems and approaches to leadership in ways for everyone to benefit.
At NAWO we are proud of the involvement of great men in our network – men who are leading the way and setting the example for others by role modelling the values of truly inclusive workplaces.
This International Men’s Day, we are celebrating Men Leading by Example, bringing together three NAWO volunteers in conversation with provocateur and leadership coach Mark LeBusque.
Balraj Hanrsa, Superintendent Oak Dam – BHP, Blair McGlew, Project Approvals – FMG and Daniel Ranschaert, Logistics Leader, WA – Bluescope will talk with Mark openly and honestly about why gender equity is important to them as leaders. They will also share the journey they have personally travelled to understand both the value of diversity, and being inclusive leaders; and their reflections on masculinity and vulnerability in today’s society.
Men – this one is for you. Come and celebrate with us!
Women – bring a bloke or several and get involved 💥
We acknowledge this discussion addresses binary gender, and welcome all genders to be part of it so we can learn from and support each other to make our workplaces better for all.
