Thinking differently – disrupting 24/7 rostering systems for better diversity

NAWO member companies have the option of nominating up to two participants from your business to attend.
There many accepted industry norms for rostering and scheduling shift work, but ultimately – within the constraints of legislation and employment agreements – to satisfy the needs of both the business and the employee, the design of work schedules is only limited by imagination and willingness to effect change.

Join our Knowledge Share to hear from Roster Specialist Jim Huemmer, Management Consultant with Shift Work Solutions. Jim will share his thinking on what organisations can and should do to innovate rosters and foster greater diversity.

This forum will give you access to solutions and ideas; and challenge and stimulate your thinking on actions for change. We would love to hear stories of successful innovation to traditional rosters, and we are keen to share different rostering models and approaches across a variety of businesses and industries.

Who should attend this Forum?
People in positions of influence over process, practice or policy for your organisation such as operational team leaders, middle managers, HR business partners, diversity specialists, or members of a relevant special project team.

Places are limited
These Forums are small, targeted and for those ready to share examples of good practice, keen to learn from others and prepared to turn conversation into action. Two representatives from 10 member companies can attend and registrations are taken on a first come first served basis. Your nominated attendees will need to be prepared to contribute, either with case studies showcasing the work your organisation has been doing OR with well thought through questions and challenges that you are finding it difficult to overcome.
