Too often we feel the need to change our behaviours in the workplace to fit in and embody the traits and styles of others. Yet we are more effective at work when we are authentic – true to our own beliefs, values and principles.
Leadership guru Lance Secretan states: “Authenticity is the alignment of head, mouth, heart, and feet — thinking, saying, feeling, and doing the same thing — consistently…”
So can we keep ourselves ‘in alignment’ – authentic – at work?
Join NAWO and CHEP to hear Phillip Austin, President – CHEP Asia Pacific and a NAWO Ambassador, who will draw on his own experiences to explore what makes an authentic leader and the barriers and successes that come with it.
An interactive Q&A forum with some of CHEP’s team will then explore the topic further and share the barriers and successes they have experienced in their careers.
Optional site tour of the CHEP Service Centre available (limited places). Tour participants must bring their own fully enclosed shoes (steel caps preferred), high vis vests and safety glasses.
