Without doubt, we’ve made a lot of progress on inclusion and diversity (I&D) as individuals, businesses, across industries and as a society. But there is still room to do so much more.
#EachforEqual is the theme for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2020 and it’s a theme that’s very close to our hearts at NAWO!
As the IWD message states: An equal world is an enabled world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements. Let’s all be #EachforEqual.
So how can we accelerate progress to enable #eachforequal in 2020?
Join NAWO and our generous host BHP to celebrate IWD2020 with a thought-provoking panel discussion, introduced by Simon Thomas Project Director – South Flank, BHP, exploring the I&D journey from three very different personal experiences. Then enjoy the opportunity to discuss the key takeaways, and what they mean for building and leading diverse teams in your industry, while networking with your NAWO colleagues.
Ben Cullinan Head of Strategic Studies, Access & Heritage, Minerals Australia, BHP
We look forward to seeing you there, book early to avoid disappointment!
