Join NAWO to hear two of Orora’s senior leaders share their insights and experience with a commercial / business acumen lens after working on a major capital project.

We all know how important commercial acumen is to our career development, whether we aspire to be a business leader, or to add value to the bottom line within our current role. But how can you develop this critical skill? Join NAWO at Orora to hear about a major capital project within a broad business context.
Two of Orora Bag Solutions’ senior leaders will share their thoughts on the importance of good commercial acumen, and share their personal career stories and tips on how to continue growing your commercial acumen day-to-day.

The event will also include small group sessions with a site leader to view the “State of the art” Orora packaging facility and gain an overview of the operations. You will:

  • See a state of the art hygiene facility and learn what transition to full hygiene means
  • Obtain insight into the cultural changes required
  • Learn about introduction of automation
  • Understand safety considerations of new equipment installation
  • Understand commercial considerations – pointing out unexpected areas of spend.
