So you’ve developed a plan for where you want your career to go. You’ve read all the articles you can find on leadership and bringing your authentic self to the workplace. You work hard, you deliver – what next?
NAWO invites you to explore the commercial and financial skills that form the basis of every senior leadership role in operations. Together we will explore the building blocks of senior careers, drawing on the concepts of Commercial Literacy that were brought to light in Susan Colantuono’s 2013 TED Talk “The Career Advice You Probably Didn’t Get” and discuss them in a moderated Q&A session. Panel members will include Tony Egbers, State Manager of Bluescope WA, and Grace Mugabe, Founding Director of Financially Empowered.
This Quick Bites event will commence with an operational tour of Bluescope’s Forrestfield production facility. You will circulate through the site, observing how inbound and outbound steel is handled and stored, including the processing of steel coils, which includes slitting and recoiling. PPE requirements are listed below. General event participants are able to wear general business attire.
A light lunch as well as informal networking is included.
Session numbers are strictly limited, so book now!
