Thinking ‘dust, cobwebs, and stale, pale suits’ when you hear the words ‘Australia’s oldest continuing institution’? Think again!
When it comes to diversity, Australia Post is delivering big time. Last year the organisation hit ZERO for its gender pay gap – a significant reduction from its 2016 pay gap of 1.4 per cent, and well below the national average of 15.3 per cent. Strategies include removing employee names from job applications to discourage unconscious bias and actively recruiting more women into senior and operational roles.
The organisation has also continued to respond to rapidly changing consumer postal needs and behaviour.
How do they do it?
Don’t miss this Quick Bite to hear a panel of three senior leaders sharing Australia Post’s journey towards diversity, inclusiveness and a powerful pipeline of women in leadership, as well as more personal stories of managing adversity – with their own stamp of authenticity – throughout their careers.
Special Guest Speaker: Roslyn McCarthy, General Manager of International Operations at Australia Post and Honorary Member of the NAWO Board.
