International Womens Day #PressforProgress – fully booked

Get caught out with NAWO on International Women’s Day!

NAWO is thrilled to partner with Rio Tinto and celebrate International Women’s Day with Christina Matthews, CEO of the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA). Australia’s most capped female Test cricket player, Christina holds the record for the most dismissals by an Australian wicketkeeper and is also one of just three women in the world to be at the helm of a first-class cricket association.  Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Christina share her career journey, her life as a wicketkeeper in the Australian women’s team, and what she does as CEO of the WACA to change the workplace culture, promote inclusion and diversity, and #PressForProgess.

Christina will also join a panel discussion with Chris and Nicky, two of Rio Tinto’s senior leaders who have chalked up some serious runs on the board.

Christina Matthews, Chief Executive Officer, Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA)

Chris Salisbury, Chief Executive Iron Ore, Rio Tinto Iron Ore

Nicky Firth, Vice President Human Resources, Rio Tinto Iron Ore

The panel discussion will be facilitated by Anna Dartnell, Group Manager Customers & Innovation, Bis Industries & NAWO board member.

This event will be followed by a networking session in a social setting next door to the venue at Gramercy Bar & Kitchen.
