We often believe we are great leaders but is our leadership style authentic?
We often feel the need to change our behaviours in the workplace to fit in and embody the traits and styles of others. When leaders do this, it often feels inauthentic and can create a disconnect between a manager and their team. Being authentic as a leader requires being true to our own beliefs, morals, values and principles.
Please join us at Orora Glass to hear directly from Greg Bywater, Supply Chain Director, and Kerry Tate, Commercial Manager. They will draw on their own journey and experiences to explore what makes an authentic leader and the barriers and successes that come with it.
You will also gain insight into the Orora Glass Executive team’s journey to embrace Authentic Leadership and become a High Performing Team. A Q&A panel will include Simon Bromell, Group General Manager Beverage, Orora Beverage and NAWO Board Member.
An optional site tour of the Glass production facility will also be offered (limited places). Participants must wear fully enclosed shoes (steel caps preferred). Orora Glass will provide a safety vest, hat, hearing protection and safety glasses.
This Quick Bite event will be held inside the Orora Glass Plant, therefore all visitors to the site must wear fully enclosed shoes and long pants.
