Research has proven diverse teams that are led inclusively enjoy greater success in terms of high performance, diversity of thought and, ultimately, engagement, innovation and business results. In fact, a Deloitte study showed more diverse and inclusive workplaces saw on average an 83% improvement in their ability to innovate, a 31% uplift in the ability to respond to changing customer needs, and a 42% increase in team collaboration.
Please join NAWO and Southern Cotton to learn about building and leading diverse teams to strengthen your business. NAWO will present aspects of its new Inclusive Leadership Introductory Toolkit and you will hear from Southern Cotton General Manager, Kate O’Callaghan, who will talk about diversity within Southern Cotton’s workforce, and how it changes at this time of year during ginning.
Hear from a dynamic panel led by Nicole Martin, Teacher in Leadership and Management at TAFE NSW. Our panellists are Emily Perkins, Feedlot Manager at JBS and Ayla Young, Warehouse Supervisor at Southern Cotton, both leaders of truly diverse teams. Joining them are Amanda Culpan, Facility Manager, Leeton Hospital who has a wealth of experience working with women in diverse settings and Annaliese Giason, HR Manager, Warburn Estate.
And please wear Pink!
This May Southern Cotton is raising money to support The McGrath Foundation by wrapping all the cotton modules picked on their Tubbo farm in pink. To support this fabulous initiative we invite you to attend sporting a little or a lot of this colour! For more information please click here
A tour of Southern Cotton’s ginning facility will also be offered. With the cotton harvest underway, you will have the chance to view this state of the art facility in operation. Witness first-hand the bales being brought in, cleaned and ready to ship.
