You don’t need to be an accountant to make sense of the bottom line!

Fortunately, Commercial Acumen is a skill you can develop! Join the experts from Tooheys and learn to view every  situation through a commercial lense.

Commercial Acumen is a vital leadership skill. It fosters a broader view of the financial impact your decisions have for the organisation at a unit or corporate level.

Developing this skill means understanding key business drivers which impact your organisation, such as:

  • Finance – revenue generation, resource requirements, expenditure, profit & cash flow
  • Markets – external influences, and
  • Strategy – the big picture.

At this forum, generously hosted by Tooheys, we will discuss the financial aspects of Commercial Acumen and their importance in decision making around cost effectiveness of budgets and  resources.

You will hear from two very “commercially savvy” speakers:

Wendy Cheung, Commercial Manager Logistics – Finance, Tooheys
Melinda Xuereb-Brook, Management Reporting Lead – Finance, Tooheys

They will share their career insights, then join a panel of guests from Operations for an engaging and practical discussion on how to collaborate with your Finance team to help you deliver more cost effective performance for business.

A site tour will also be offered – available to all members! Refer below to PPE tour requirements.  Fully booked – contact NAWO to be placed on the waiting list.
