Tough times versus tough people

Nelson Mandela once said, “The greatest glory in living lies not in never failing but in rising every time we fail.”  In the first Professional Development Event for QLD in 2016, NAWO helps you answer the question – how resilient are you as a leader?

Resilience is far more than bouncing back and just surviving, it is bouncing forward and thriving. Hear from one of Australia Post’s senior leaders, Mary-Anne Tyack, Queensland Transport Manager, Australia Post, as she shares her story on conquering and thriving in the challenging and changing environment of retail post over the past couple of years.

Then participate in a practical workshop led by Peta Sigley, Principal of The Resilience Institute, to understand and build your insight, mastery, empathy and influence. Using your own diagnostic report, you will learn how to align body, heart, mind and spirit to enable sustainable high performance as an authentic high performance leader.

Prior to the session, you are invited to complete an individual diagnostic assessment – ‘The Resilience Diagnostic’, provided by The Resilience Institute. The assessment is to be used as part of the interactive workshop and is yours to keep. Your fee includes the cost of the assessment.  Please note, it must be completed by 12pm 9th May, 2016. (Numbers are limited.)

*Individual and Corporate members are invited to bring a friend at the NAWO member rate.*
