Kylie joined Diageo Australia in September 2011 as Regional Legal Counsel and has more than 20 years’ experience as a legal practitioner.

In 2013, Kylie was promoted to the position of Corporate Relations & Legal Director. Working with a merged CR and Legal team, Kylie oversees the day to day legal affairs for the Australian & New Zealand business, as well as managing the execution of the external and government relations, regulatory issues, communications, Alcohol in Society and public policy strategies. Kylie is Chairperson of Bundaberg Distilling Company Pty Ltd, and represents Bundaberg Rum on the Distilled Spirits Industry Council of Australia. She is also Vice Chair of Spirits New Zealand and is a member of the Women in Drinks Council.

Prior to joining Diageo Australia, Kylie held positions as M&A Partner at Marque Lawyers, Senior Legal Counsel at Babcock & Brown, Senior Associate at Corrs Chambers Westgarth and as a lawyer at Clayton Utz.

In 2015 Kylie was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law awards for General Counsel of the Year and in 2016 was listed in the Legal 500 General Counsel Powerlist for Australia and New Zealand. Kylie is the co-author of the Corporate Governance chapter for the LexisNexis “Australian Corporation Practice” publication.

Kylie is married and has two teenage daughters, Billie and Scout.
