Miriam joined McKinsey & Company in March 2010, as one of the founding members of MI, McKinsey Implementation. She uses her experience and influencing techniques to take organisations from ‘answer’ to ‘result’ with spikes in accelerated implementation, cascaded operational performance management and frontline productivity.
Miriam has over 20 years of ‘hands-on’ experience in translating and implementing theoretical concepts into operational practices and real measurable performance improvement, in the field and as a consultant. She is a pillar for women in operations with her work including sectors such as mining, oil & gas and other heavy industry in Australia, SE Asia and South Africa.
Prior to joining McKinsey and Company, Miriam was a line manager in British Petroleum (UK) and, after migrating to Australia, held a variety of consulting roles with Partners in Performance, PA Consulting Group, Price Waterhouse Urwick and as an independent consultant.
Miriam is a qualified Chartered Engineer (Institute of Engineering & Technology, UK) with a BSc (Honours) in Electronic Engineering & Physics from Loughborough University (UK) and an MBA from Macquarie GSM (University Medallist).
