General Manager Customer Value Chain ANZ, Asahi Beverages

Sandra Gibbs is a supply chain professional with extensive experience in FMCG, specifically beverages. A people focused, results driven leader, Sandra is currently the General Manager of Customer Value Chain ANZ at Asahi Beverages. Asahi Beverages in ANZ owns a variety of brands including Schweppes, Asahi, Peroni, Mountain Goat, The Better Drinks Company, Pepsi, Solo, Gatorade and Cool Ridge.

Sandra commenced her career with Anderson Consulting (now Accenture) as a graduate after completing her Bach Arts and Commerce degrees. Sandra worked across multiple industries including the ATO and NZ Dept for Courts and rose to the level of Manager quickly. Sandra then decided to broaden her experience and worked in a variety of European locations for the London Underground focusing on managing major safety and efficiency improvement projects for 2 years. Moving back to Australia, Sandra then joined Carlton United Breweries managing the change for an ANZ ERP implementation.

Throughout her career at CUB in Asia Pacific (in which she worked for various businesses as a result of mergers and acquisitions including Treasury Wine Estates, SABMiller, AB Inbev), Sandra led various supply functions, including Domestic and International logistics Demand and Supply Planning, NPD and Manufacturing. She also owned the CUB IBP process and the Supply Strategy. During her 13 year career at CUB Sandra led various ERP projects and was the supply lead for mergers and takeovers as well as brewery shutdowns. In her final role she led the regional Asia Pacific Logistics function including Aust, NZ, India and Vietnam. During this time she also completed her MBA and graduated with honours. Sandra left CUB to join Asahi, excited at the prospect of influencing global growth. She currently manages Logistics in Australia and New Zealand.
