Suzi Skinner (M.Appl.Sc., PhD Candidate), is an author, researcher, international leadership practitioner and Managing Director of Roar People, Selftalk Pty Limited - a leadership consultancy in Sydney Australia. Suzi works with organisations to accelerate change toward more inclusive leadership practices and enhance employee engagement and results. Suzi’s compelling approach combines the proven evidence base of leadership and executive coaching with fresh perspectives on tapping into the leadership potential of every individual.

Suzi coaches and facilitates at executive and board level in a range of leading international organisations which include Microsoft, Kimberly Clark; Ernst & Young; Lloyds International; Stockland; Australian Unity; Google; Pepsico BT Financial Group and many more. Her innovative programs titled “What’s Your Leadership I.D.?” have been conducted in Europe, Asia and Australia and continue to successfully challenge outdated notions of leading.

Suzi is a Harnisch Scholar and her research, titled “Understanding the Importance of Leadership Identity and Gender in Developing Women Leaders”, was awarded first prize for an Academic Poster at the Institute of Coaching Annual Conference in 2012. As a recipient of the Institute of Coaching Research Grant, Suzi’s study explored development practices such as executive coaching and provided fresh insights into the key areas for leaders in the workplace. The research was published in the peer reviewed academic Journal: Coaching: An International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice in 2014. Suzi’s book: “Build Your Leader Identity – A Practical Guide to Leading Authentically from Any Position” was recently published. Suzi was also awarded the Outstanding Women Leaders Award by the World Women Leadership Congress (WWLC) for her work in providing leadership development programs for women in India and internationally.

Suzi is a guest speaker at Harvard’s Institute of Coaching; Sydney Business School; Macquarie University; International HR Directors Forum; YWCA; American Chamber of Commerce; Finance Executive Women; Network Central; W.I.N International; and many multinational organisations.
